Why We Started This Group:
*To meet other people who love God
*To create a supportive church family for 20- or 30-somethings
*To attract more people our age to our/any church
*To be involved in the community and make a difference
*To study what it means to be a Christian in our age group

Ideas for service projects
The Massillon Gateway has a list of a lot of great groups we could volunteer for... or donate pies/other food to. I especially like the United Way Volunteer Serviecs because they match groups with volunteer opportunities. Take a moment to check out this website, and I think we should all think and pray about what group could use the YC's help!

Thirty-three pumpkin pie orders and counting! See you at church to start baking at 11:00 AM! Some folks need to leave early and some will come late, but no matter what time you can make it at least some of us will probably be there!

Items to continue thinking about:
- What kind of community ministery do we want to look into starting?
- What "social" event can we host on November 15th? LaserQuest? Bowling? Pool? Game night? Band/concert?
Next date to bake charity/shut-in pies: tentatively Novemer 22nd

10/05 Summary
Pumpkin pie baking and taste testing seemed like a success! We had a lot of pieces left over, but we also made A LOT of pies and handed out a lot of samples. We got 9 orders (18 to make - 9 bought/9 to donate) just out of the last service and on our very first Sunday with the order form in the bulletin. Hopefully more orders will come in during the next 2 weeks!
